CONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEMS

Rammed Earth.

Ancient constructive system composed basically of clays and sands mixed and compacted into a formwork manueally. This 30 cm thick wallss are ideal for inner termal efficiency by slowly absorbing and realeasing extreme temperaturas.

Barrel Vault.

This kind of roof is proved to receive the less direct solar radiation because of its form, at the same time, the structure of it is independent and very efficient. It was put togeather brick by brick by local artisans.

Colored Concrete Tiles.

Traditional and artistic technic done tile by tile using a mecanic compress and human forcé. Its colors were personalized for this proyect to make a contrast with the desertic environment.
